Strength in Unity: A Discussion on European Identity and Values

As part of IE University’s contribution to the CIVICA “Meet the European Culture” webinar series, the IE European Union Club will host an a panel examining the values, heritage and collective identity that bind the continent together. The 90-minute event will feature Dr. Johanna Jacobsson, an Adjunct Professor of EU Law at IE University who worked in the Court of Justice of the EU.

The webinar is open to all, and will also include speakers from the IE EU Club, IE Campus Life and CIVICA representatives, all sharing their perspectives on cross-border study and European identity. The discussion will touch on the relationship between European and national identities, the challenge of democratic backsliding and the rule of law and the evolution of European solidarity.
