We aim to understand what makes someone a European. We talk about the evolution of European identity with Frank Schimmelfennig, visiting professor at the Hertie School, and Professor and Chair of European Politics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Then, we invite three students from CIVICA partner universities to share their experiences of being European: Luca Mariaux (master's student, Hertie School), Marta Vukovic (master's student, Central European University), Pietro Valleto (undergraduate student, Bocconi University).
