The CIVICA Engage Track is a European multi-campus, interdisciplinary bachelor experience with a focus on civic engagement.
What is the CIVICA Engage track?
The CIVICA Engage Track is a European, multi-campus and interdisciplinary experience designed for undergraduate students with a strong interest in civic engagement.
By combining academic learning with social commitment, students explore and respond to key societal challenges such as responsibility, sustainability, and democratic values. They engage in dedicated CIVICA Engage courses and Pedagogical Activities, collaborate with community-based organisations and reflect on their experiences alongside peers from across Europe.
Participants choose from a diverse set of courses offered by CIVICA universities. Through fieldwork, coaching, guest lectures, group projects and events, students deepen their knowledge, develop practical skills and strengthen their civic awareness in a truly international setting.
Who can apply?
The programme is aimed at undergraduate students across CIVICA member universities. Please contact your home university for details on the admission procedures (contact details are at the bottom of this page). For general inquiries about the CIVICA Engage Track, please contact civica[at]hhs.se.

The CIVICA Engage Showcase Assignment is the final step to complete the CIVICA Engage Track.
The Showcase Assignment consists of two parts, where students will:
