24 scholars selected for the fifth CIVICA call for faculty short visits
16-12-2024
The CIVICA alliance has selected 24 accomplished postdoctoral researchers and faculty members from across the ten universities of our alliance in the fifth call for the Faculty Short Visits programme.
Throughout the application process, candidates submitted extensive proposals which highlighted the academic relevance of their visit, showcasing how their visit would support their research as well as how it would benefit the wider CIVICA community.
Successful candidates were selected by CIVICA's Permanent Design Team, which consists of vice-presidents for research and senior faculty of our partner universities. The visits, which take place until December of 2025, will consist of various activities including hosting workshops, presenting talks on research, and meeting with other researchers and the host institution.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the selected researchers! Below, you will find the name of the selected researchers, including their home and sending institutions.

CIVICA brings together ten leading European higher education institutions in the social sciences, humanities, business management and public policy, with a total of 72,000 students and 13,000 faculty members. Together, they build on an ever-stronger combination of teaching, research and innovation to mobilise and share knowledge as a public good and to facilitate civic responsibility in Europe and beyond.
