futurEU Competition 2023: Final Round
On-site & online
Do you think that students should be involved in the debate on the future of the EU? Do you want to know where young people see urgency for EU policy change?
Join the futurEU final to see students and PhD researchers from CIVICA partner universities present their visionary proposals for the EU. This year participants shared their ideas on Climate Change and Societal Transformation: How Can EU Policy Advance Climate Protection and Sustainability in a Turbulent World?
After a total of 71 teams from all over Europe submitted their policy briefs in the written round, experts from the Jacques Delors Centre Berlin selected the best eight teams to present and defend their ideas during the finals of the futurEU competition 2023.
On 21 April, the eight semi-finalist teams will pitch their innovative proposals for advancing the EU's climate protection efforts. You can see the live streaming of the morning semi-finals through our Youtube channel.
Later in the day, you can come see the best two finalist teams present their ideas for the future of climate policy in the EU. The final will be held on 21 April at 5pm (CET) at the Hertie School Forum. Food and drinks will be provided.
